| Description: | THIS POSITION IS PENDING CONTRACT AWARD
Supervises personnel in the inspection functions; provides training, development, and resourcing to ensure adequate coverage of the inspection functions with qualified personnel. Maintains sufficient staffing at all inspection functions to support production. Assesses all inspection function areas; determines specific safety hazards and implements proper personnel protective equipment requirements for all personnel in the area; provides training and monitoring to assure compliance. Determines specific customer requirements for inspection criteria, cleanliness, packaging, labeling, certification, packing, and shipping as well as any unique requirements. Develops and maintains Inspection Control Plans, ensuring that key customer requirements are clearly documented and fully met for all final inspection. Communicates to and trains all affected personnel to ensure understanding and competent execution of all staff in order to meet requirements. |
| Qualifications: | High School degree or Equivalent.
2 years as a Quality Inspector or Aircraft Quality Inspector.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces and sit for extended periods of time.
•Must be able to routinely Climb/Descend stairs
•On occasion must be able to lift 30 pounds
•Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above/below shoulders
•Works in a normal office
